During the House Floor debate on the bill to enact the Pharmaceutical Redistribution Program, Representative Robert Quattrocchi offered an amendment to help protect recipients of the redistributed drugs, by adding language that informed of the civil and criminal immunity of drug provider provisions that applied upon receipt and use of the repurposed pharmaceuticals. His amendment was voted down by the majority of his colleagues, with the explanation that these types of regulations were micromanaging the Department of Health.

If we don't pass the Amendment to end the school mask mandate, the Chamber is acting in cowardice -- the Governor certainly is. Essentially, what we are doing is kicking our responsibility to the school committees. We need to take a stand on behalf of our children.
