The House Committee on Rules considers all matters relating to the rules and operations of the RI House of Representatives.
The House Committee on Small Business reviews matters relating to the streamlining of licenses and permits, eliminating or decreasing steps and uncoordinated duplicate filings, and reducing associated costs to businesses.
The House Committee on Special Legislation considers bills that deal with policies or issues outside the purview of the other Rhode Island House standing committees.
The House State Government and Elections Committee deliberates on all bills affecting State Government and Elections.
The House Committee on Veterans' Affairs considers legislation that impacts the lives of Rhode Island Veterans.
