Leader Blake Filippi stands against passing legislation authorizing costly renewable energy transmission development costs to be covered by RI ratepayers. RI Republicans voted no---every Democrat voted yes:

If we pass H6066, expensive renewable energy transmission system upgrades will no longer be the responsibility of the for-profit developer --as was rightfully determined by the PUC. If we pass this legislation, the RI ratepayers will now bear the burden of this costly responsibility. It is wrong. I can't support this.
